About me
Hello, I’m Sharon
I live in London with my husband, and together we have two grown-up children. For most of my working life, I have been involved in the creative industries. I started my career in the music business before going on to build a design consultancy, helping artists and designers bring their ideas to life through products and commercial opportunities. My own journey into therapy began when I was 22. At the time, I found counselling very challenging and often left sessions feeling overwhelmed. Looking back, I can see that I wasn't yet equipped with the tools and support I needed to process the emotions and experiences that therapy had uncovered. Many years later, in my forties, a family mental health crisis brought me back to therapy. This experience was profoundly life changing. Not only did it help me develop healthier ways of understanding myself and navigating difficult situations, but it also transformed the way our family communicated and connected with one another. The positive changes we experienced continue to shape my relationships today. It was through this experience that I discovered a deep desire to train as a counsellor myself. I know how important it can be to have a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and explore whatever may be troubling you without fear of judgement. As a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I bring both professional training and personal experience to my work. I believe that every person is unique, and I aim to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can better understand yourself, work through challenges, and find a way forward that feels right for you. Seeking support can sometimes feel daunting, but you do not have to face life's difficulties alone. My role is to walk alongside you, offering understanding, curiosity, and support as you make sense of your experiences and discover your own strengths and resources.
My approach
How I work
Every person is unique, so I take time to get to know you and what you’re hoping for, rather than following a fixed formula. Our first conversation is unhurried — a chance to share what has brought you here and to get a feel for how we might work together.
Sessions are held online by video call, which many people find makes counselling easier to fit around daily life. There’s no pressure and no judgement; we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
